Happy Birthday To Us
Pick a random date
to celebrate your relationship with your
tween. Make sure it's a long way from his real birthday and
even farther away from the big, gift-giving holidays.
Look forward to it. Talk about what would be fun for both of you.
Take a hike. Or just stay in your pj's all day and refinish an old desk.
Go for a sail. Go fishing. Paint by the beach. Take an elderly friend out
for lunch. Plan your fantasy vacation—on paper.
Do whatever you and your tween love to do.
Then buy a cake. Put cancles on it for every year you've know each
other. Make a wish and blow them out. Give each other a hug.
Make it an annual event not to be missed!
